DHI (CHOI PEN)
DHI (CHOI PEN)
The Dhı hair transplant technique, also known as Direct Hair Implantation, is a method used for hair transplantation. Unlike other traditional hair transplant methods, Dhı involves directly placing hair follicles into the recipient area. This allows for more natural and aesthetic results.
Dhı hair transplant is performed under local anesthesia. Initially, hair follicles are harvested from the donor area, and then these follicles are individually implanted into the recipient area using a specialized tool. Dhı technique bears similarities to the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method but has some differences. Dhı ensures a faster implantation process and shorter recovery time compared to traditional methods.
Enables Direct Implantation
The DHI method allows hair follicles to be directly implanted into the recipient area, minimizing the time they spend outside of the body and thereby increasing their survival rate.
Scarless Method
The transplantation performed using a Choi Pen results in minimal bleeding and scarring. This enables patients to have a more comfortable post-procedure experience.
Quick Recovery Time
The DHI method is a minimally invasive technique. Due to the small incisions made, the recovery time is shorter and more comfortable.
DHI (CHOI PEN) Stages of Hair Transplantation
- Step 1: Preparation of the Donor Area Before the procedure begins, the area from which hair follicles, known as the donor area, will be extracted is prepared in a sterile manner. This area is typically located at the back of the scalp.
- Step 2: Harvesting of Hair Follicles Hair follicles are individually extracted from the donor area using a specialized tool. The follicles are immediately placed in a special solution to protect them from external factors upon extraction.
- Step 3: Preparation of the Recipient Area The area where hair transplantation will occur is numbed with local anesthesia. Subsequently, channels are created for implantation. Opening these channels ensures that the hair follicles will be placed correctly during the transplantation process.
- Step 4: Implantation of Hair Follicles Hair follicles are implanted into the recipient area one by one using a specialized tool. During this stage, it is crucial to implant the follicles at the correct angle and with a natural distribution. This ensures more aesthetic and natural-looking results.
- Step 5: Recovery Process The recovery process after DHI hair transplant technique is typically fast. After the procedure, it is important to take care to protect the hair follicles for a specified period and follow the recommended care instructions. As the transplanted hair follicles take root over time, new hair growth begins.
